Irene Renstrom had a roofer work on the home she’d lived in for 20 years. But he didn’t bother to seal around skylight and after two days of water flowing in during a rainstorm, the ceiling collapsed.
Fast forward over a large part of the story (which you can hear Irene narrate in her YouTube video, and she ended up with near-fatal mold illness . . . including a paralysed vocal cord, swallowing problems, sharp headaches, lethargy, diarrhoea, aching joints and burning muscles, black vertical lines on her nails, hair and eyelash loss, bloody noses, rashes on both sides of her body, red watery blisters that mimicked leukopenia, brain fog diagnosed as toxic encephalopathy (making learning new tasks difficult, as well as remembering learned tasks).
She no longer tolerate bright lights or loud noises.
Heartbreakingly, her beloved, shzi-tsu, Snoopy, who had been vibrantly healthy, became paralysed as soon as she left the house, quickly thereafter developing bone cancer in his leg.
Ten months later, Snoopy was found to have a tumour on his heart and died on operating table.
